— PHILADELPHIA — IT’S THE 6th LARGEST CITY IN THE USA, CONSISTING OF A PROGRESSIVE POPULATION THAT MAKES IT THE PERFECT LOCATION TO follow the examples set forth by scores of municipalities and cities across America, who‘ve already enacted resolutions for impeachment of Bush-Cheney. Plus Philly is where the foundation of our government was formed, a fact the residents hold dear, and it should reclaim its place in history by demanding restoration to the Bill of Rights. Currently, a resolution before City Council concerns this just demand.

On September 4th, 2008, John McDermott,on behalf of the Not In Our Name coalition, personally delivered a Resolution for the Impeachment of George W. Bush to each member of the Philadelphia City Council.

At the 1st Council Meeting since Summer recess on September 18th, the Council failed to read the Resolution into the record. It’s obvious that unless the people of Philly apply strong pressure on the Council, Philly will not join the long list of Cities, Towns,Counties, and State Legislatures, who have passed such resolutions as listed HERE.• Not only was the Declaration of Independence signed in Pennsylvania State House
• And George Washington received his commission as Commander of the Continental Army
• 221 years ago on September 17th, 1787, the Constitution and Bill of Rights were written in Philadelphia
Philadelphia’s rich in the development of our nation... now the people of Philly and people from across our land are challenging City Hall to reestablish the basic fundamentals of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The New Jersey General Assembly Assistant State Majority Leader, Reed Gusciora, drafted a resolution. We're now lobbying legislators to co-sponsor and see the resolution pass all the way.

We are NOT in this to make a statement. We are NOT interested in wasting time. We are aiming for success, for victory, and the chance of getting the resolution passed through the entire legislature is better here than in any other state.

When the resolution passes, it will bring overwhelming pressure on U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers, and Harry Reid in the U.S. Senate, to push them into impeachment proceedings. It's called Jefferson's Rule 603, and all the particulars are on our site.

Little known but true: It is the law of the United States that one state's petition to impeach is transmitted to the House for action. New Jersey can be that state, and you can help make it happen.

Now here's where you expect a pitch for money. Sure why the hell not? But the most valuable thing you can give — unless you're George Soros or somebody with more money than goddess — is your time and your support. Help us make it happen and it'll happen.

First We Start From the Obvious

The President, Vice-President and all Civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors. — ARTICLE II, SECTION 4 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

We, the People of the United States, demand the Impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice-President Richard B. Cheney, Secretary of State Condaleeza Rice, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Attorney-General Alberto R. Gonzales, and Karl Rove for Violation of their Oaths of Office, for Treason, for Bribery, for other High Crimes and Misdemeanors, and we Demand their Prosecutions for all Criminal Acts committed by them as Officers of the United States.

This is what our group aims to achieve. We work for a Voter's Bill of Rights which protects democracy. It's a FACT, not an opinion, that Bush LOST in 2000 and 2004. Both elections were stolen.

Our country's in serious crisis, and we need to educate everyone who really cares about the USA and organize people into a force that won't be denied our demand for democracy in America. Real reform and protection of the voting process won't come from either of the 2 major parties.

Regular patriots — not transnational corporations — work to reclaim our country and restore justice, integrity, decency and dignity to our United States.
